School Admission arrangements from 2013-14
The Bishop Bell Church of England School is consulting with residents, schools, parents and the Diocese about our plans for school admissions for the academic year 2013-14.
The Department for Education has produced a new Admissions Code which is due to come into force in February 2012 and requires some changes to admissions arrangements from the 2013-14 school year. These are outlined in our proposed admissions policy 2013 on the icon below. The proposed changes have been highlighted in red.
We would like to know your views on our arrangements. Please feel free to contact the School with any comments by Wednesday 29 February.
Bishop Bell Nursery
Bishop Bell nursery is open to children aged 0-5 from the local community. It provides childcare and education from 8a.m. to 6p.m. and is open for 51 weeks per year. Funded places are available, and we can offer half-day sessions or all-day. Children may bring a packed lunch, but hot meals are available at lunchtime for a small extra charge.
